Subject	Evil Grinding sound from drive shaft

Message	The sound comes and goes but its present more often than not. Its seems to be coming from where the drive shaft connects to the transmission. This is a 92 300zx manual 250,000 miles. Is there anything in that spot like bearings or something that could cause the sound? It happens whether the car is in gear or neutral, if the tires are spinning the sound is present. It is not brake or rotor related its clearly coming from about dead center of the car where drive shaft connects to tranny. Also, would you say its safe to drive a few more days until I have a day off to fix it? Thanks.
